During the brainstorming phase, we focused on identifying key features that would address the main pain points uncovered in our research. Our goal was to design an app that not only provided mental health support but also resonated with the Nigerian context. The top three features we prioritized were Anonymous Support Groups, Easy Access to Professionals, and Educational Resources, the others were grouped into a priority matrix.
User Flow

I started with putting the design solutions down in wireframes to better understand the flow and interactions with users

Hi-fi Screens
From this process, I learned the importance of balancing functionality with simplicity. Ensuring that users can easily access the features they need without feeling overwhelmed is crucial. I also realized the significance of incorporating user feedback early and often in the design process to create a product that truly meets users' needs.
Next steps include gathering detailed feedback from a broader user base to identify any remaining pain points and areas for improvement. Refining the design based on this feedback will be essential. Additionally, collaborating closely with developers to ensure that the design is implemented effectively and maintaining a focus on user experience throughout the development process will be key to bringing the app to life successfully.
